Cindy Landon

Widow of Michael Landon

The world lost one of its greatest and beloved
talents on July 1, 1991.  Only three months after
it's initial diagnosis, Michael Landon died of
pancreatic cancer at the age of 54.

Cindy was married to Michael at the time of his
death. Michael pleaded with the media to respect
his family's privacy during this time at a press
conference as he announced his illness. She and
their two children had to cope with not only losing
a husband and father privately, but also being
hounded by the press who ignored Michael's
request.

Michael faced death with the charm, wit and
determination he always had when facing
adversity. They were soul mates and even many
years, there isn't a day that goes by when she
doesn't think of him.
